2005 Army Quality Award

Diversified's SBIR project titled ?The Development of Enhanced Chemical Biological (CB) Closure? has been selected for a 2005 Army Quality Award.  This Quality Awards Program recognizes small businesses for exceptional performance that exemplifies the goal of bringing innovative technologies and products to the marketplace.

This year, 240 invitations were eligible to apply for the 2005 Quality Awards. Our project was chosen from 57 nominations from across the Army. Nominations were evaluated based on the originality and innovation of research; relevance of the research to the Army mission; and immediate commercialization potential of the research.

The Army selected seven exceptional projects to receive a Quality Award. A formal ceremony for award recipients will be held at the Pentagon on August 18, 2005.  The Army's project statement is below:
